RF-2064, RF-2296, RF-22192 with PCLink RFPC-03
I have a storage buffer full error message. (Check
sums error) How do I fix that?
Check your IRQ settings. If any other device has the same IRQ as the com port you
are using, you have an IRQ conflict. If you are using a serial port mouse, and you have
only two com ports, the serial port mouse may be interfering. Also, another device can be
taking over the com port for its own use.
If there is no IRQ conflict:
Procedure 1:
(This will clear the buffer of any data.)
- Save settings.
- Go to File | New.
- Immediately do the transfer procedure.
Procedure 2:
(This will set your serial ports to a high buffer setting in Windows 95/98.
Consult your computer manufacturer or Microsoft for port setting on a Windows 3.1x or DOS
based computer.)
- Go to Start | Settings | Control Panel.
- Double click on the System icon.
- Click on device manager.
- Expand Ports (COM & LPT).
- Double click on the port to which you have connected your ROLODEX.
- Click on Port Settings.
- Click on Advanced.
- Adjust buffer settings to high.
- Click OK.
- Proceed with transmission procedure.
I have a time out error. What can I do?
