SEIKO Electronic Dictionary by Franklin

DB-J990A electronic dictionary contains English-Japanese, Japanese-English, Japanese monolingual, and Chinese character dictionaries and an encyclopedia. It is possible to connect this device to a PC, download and enjoy a variety of content. Moreover, you can look up words you don't understand in downloaded content, in Word or other text using the "jump function."
Highlighting and bookmarking have been added as new functions. You can add highlights to entries as if you were highlighting a paper dictionary. Moreover, you can add bookmarks to pages with words you want to memorize and other important pages. This is also useful for studying as you can display the pages you have highlighted and bookmarked.
You can download news from MSN-Mainichi, CNN, Le Monde, and other sources. Just download it once, connect your device to your PC, and the latest news will be stored on your Network Dictionary. (Old news will be overwritten.) Also it is possible to upload Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and eBooks on your device.

ネットワーク電子辞書「DB-J990」は、電子辞書同様、英和、和英、国語、漢字、百科事典などの基本的な辞書を収録し、その上パソコンとつないでさまざまなコンテンツをダウンロードして楽しむことができます。しかもダウンロードしたコンテンツやWordなどのテキスト文章でわからない言葉は、「ジャンプ機能」を活用して辞書で調べることができます。
新機能として、「ハイライト機能・ブックマーク機能」が付きました。紙の辞書にマーカーで線を引くように、自由にハイライトをつけることが出来ます。また、覚えたい単語のページや重要なページなどに、ブックマークをつけることができます.。そして、ハイライトしたページブックマークしたページをまとめて表示することができますので、学習にも役立ちます。
「MSN-Mainichi（毎日新聞）」やCNN（米）、Le Monde（仏）などからニュースのダウンロードできます。1度ダウンロードすれば、次からはパソコンにつなげるだけで最新ニュースがネットワーク電子辞書に収録されます（ニュースは上書きされます）。Word、PowerPoint文書やeBookをダウンロードして持ち歩くことも可能です。
